GAC develops both halves of the drivetrain in-house: the AEP 3.0 electric platform and Magazine Battery 2.0 on one side, the G/GS engine and GMC transmission platforms on the other.

New energy battery

Magazine Battery 2.0

Three technologies sit inside the pack: a heat-resistant electrode interface, a fire extinguishing system built into the cell, and cooling plates above and below it.

Super Stable Electrode Interface

A super heat-resistant layer reduces the probability of a short circuit inside the cell.

Cell Fire Extinguishing System

A fire extinguishing board built into the pack triggers on its own and sprays where it is needed.

Combustion

Engine

The G/GS engine platform spans 1.0 to 2.0 litres and combines 350-bar high-pressure direct injection, GAC’s GCCS combustion control system, exhaust gas recirculation, a water-cooled intercooler and a thermal management module.
